Resource Centre NEWS

The Lego, jigsaw puzzles, card making and colouring supplies have arrived and are ready for students to enjoy during both recess and lunch in the Resource Centre. Individuals and small groups are able to choose a creative activity in which to participate or if you have a special project you would like to continue on with during recess and lunch, bring it along. You are also able to play chess, scrabble and draughts.
More new books have also been placed on display for students to borrow and enjoy reading. The next book in the Anh Do Wierdo series Mega Weird Book 7 has arrived as well as more additions to the Tim Cahill Tiny Timmy series and Sporty Kids, Stuff Happens, Glory Gardens Cricket Club and K.M Peyton Flambards Series. Drop by the Resource Centre to borrow a great book to read and participate in a creative activity.

Year 8 Tea Light Display
The focus of this area is on objects, systems and artifacts. People produce, distribute, use and consume both an enormous quantity and variety of goods and commodities. A considerable proportion of human activity is aimed at providing these products. These range from items that are individually crafted through to those mass produced.
This Unit introduces students to the basic design skills, tools and techniques used in timber technologies. Students will gain an understanding of timber and the applications and appropriate tools and equipment necessary when working with timber.
