Currie Cup AFL

Over the last 5 weeks, our U15 Boys AFL team have been participating in the Currie Cup. This team have played some great football over the competition, ensuring them a place in the Grand Final, played on Monday 29 May.

The boys came up against a red hot TRAC team who had gone through the competition undefeated. TRAC kicked out to an early lead to be up comfortably at half time. A huge third quarter had us back in the game. Unfortunately we could not carry that momentum into the last and went down by 26 points.

Final Score: TRAC (71) 10.11 vs KILDARE (45) 7.3

Goals: D Irvine 2, P Voss 2, B Carroll 2, S Emery.

Well done to all the boys in the squad who trained and played very well throughout the competition.
