The semester draws to a close....

This fortnight has marked a significant point in the years academic calendar with students of both Year 11 and 12 taking on significant assessment challenges. At Year 11, the semester draws to a close with final assessments taking place prior to the busy exam week. At year 12, students have been tirelessly preparing for English oral presentations and getting ready for the marathon event that is the yearly General Achievement Test (GAT).

As the wild winter weather sets in, and the rain on the roof breaks the silence of the exam hall, we keep the many families north of us in our prayers as they cope with the damage and displacement of the recent storms. Here at the College, students are reminded to be extra careful travelling to and from school in low visibility on wet and slippery roads and paths. At the completion of the study break, students will return with the excitement and hope of a new semester and the fast approaching Feast day.

Each Chang home group is working hard to prepare for the provision of sumo wrestling (C1), mocktails (C2), table tennis tournaments (C3), ducks in a pond (C4), ten pin bowling (C5), nachos (C6) and the chance to win $100 with a single guess (C7)!

We hope everyone does their very best in all assessments and look forward to another busy fortnight in Chang!
