Mackillop Cluster News

A look back at the year so far..

As we near the end of Semester 1 of 2016, we look back on the year so far, in what has been an exciting year, and one of which many changes have taken place.

With 2016 being the first year in which VCAL have combined to become the Mackillop cluster, located at the central hub of the College in the St Joseph Centre, we have seen the students embrace their new identity, and have seen our Cluster grow in leaps and bounds.

From Year 11s having a successful Retreat, the numerous excursions, Senior Fundraising dinner, participation in SACCSS Sports, and students demonstrating great pride in the Cluster Activities and Sports, it has been a busy term and one in which all of our students should be extremely proud of.

It has been a busy fortnight with students completing assessments, and undertaking interviews for program promotion. We thank students for their hard work, and wish them luck with their promotion interviews. We look forward to watching you grow throughout the remainder of the year.

As the year 12s approach their final months of schooling, we also wish them luck for the reminder of the year and look forward to assisting you with getting prepared for the workforce.

We also look towards an exciting term ahead. With term 3 having a major focus on Social Justice and Fundraising, Mackillop look forward to continue their tradition of supporting Ozanam House and Mercy Hospus Care.
