LEARNING
TECHNOLOGY AT INFANT JESUS
It has been fantastic to see the children throughout the school engaged in their learning this week. This learning at Infant Jesus School is greatly enhanced through access to and use of technology.
Children in Years 3 – 6 bring their own device and children from Kindy to Year 2 have access to iPads in their classrooms (For more information you can access the BYOD Program on our school website or directly at http://www.infantjesus.wa.edu.au/pdf/policy_ict_byodprogram.pdf)
To support the learning children in Years 3 – 6 need to have added the list of apps listed for the year level. Please access this list at http://www.infantjesus.wa.edu.au/pdf/curriculum_applist.pdf.
Please see the class teacher if the apps have not been added for the year level or your child has not bought in their own device to use at school.

Music News
The year 2017 will see exciting new changes to the Choral Programme at Infant Jesus. This year a select Choir will be auditioned to represent the school at important school based and community events such as the Catholic Performing Arts Festival. The students experienced their first Choral class in preparation for the Commissioning Mass and were reminded of the big commitment it is to lead the school in the Arts Programme. Students excitedly and whole heartedly made the commitment to represent the school with excellence and to attend rehearsals each week.
