Hunt Community Childcare visits Foundation
Children in Foundation were so excited on Friday 11th August because children from Hunt Community Childcare came to visit.
Toby, Hughie, Ethan, Edgar, Saxon, and Ptolemy arrived at St James with their teachers Lauren Loft and Alisha.
We read the story ’Everyone Can Learn to Ride a Bicycle’ by Chris Raschlea. The story is about learning. Learning can be fun just like riding a bike. It takes time to get your balance and steer and sometimes it can be a bit scary. Learning new things can be like that. It can take time, be a bit scary and frustrating but if you keep trying you will get there.
Children then spent time on the playground, climbing the monkey bars and playing in the sand pit. Some of the Hunt children found their big brother or sister.
We all had a great time enjoying St James school. We hope to see them all again soon.
Year 4
The Year 4 students will be holding a bake sale tomorrow, Friday 18th August. All monies raised will go to Caritas.
Years 2 & 4
Hello everyone.
Bridey and Angus are both having an awesome time in Hong Kong. We have been doing a sports week and a drama week, where we did the musical Annie. We have been swimming in the pool pretty much every day. It has been super hot. The hottest day that we've had was on Saturday and it was 36 degrees. Very hot!
You must be very busy with the Musical and the Holt District Athletics Carnival!
We are missing you all!
Hope your having a great time!
From Bridey and Angus.
