Budding Year 8 Authors

Last term in English, Year 8 students were involved in writing and designing their own picture book. The task involved them creating a book that addressed a particular theme and highlighted views and values surrounding that theme for a primary school audience. Some students were then selected to read their picture books to students at our neighbouring primary school, Glen Waverley South, therefore giving our students an authentic audience. These students did a fantastic job and the feedback from the grade 5 and 6 students was really positive, as they loved the imagination, creativity and hard work that was displayed in each picture book presented.
