Virtual Soiree

Students who have already submitted recordings for the virtual soiree are to be complimented on their presentation.  Whilst the streets of Hamilton might be quiet, don’t be deceived, there are music students all around, working hard and making great progress with their chosen musical discipline.  We have now finetuned our submission process.  All recordings should be uploaded through the following link VIRTUAL SOIREE UPLOADS.

Recordings should include Video and Audio.  Mr Hiscock will endeavour to prepare a compilation of the best performances to be released for viewing by the school community.  When making a video recording of a performance it is essential to do a ‘sound check’ and ‘video check’, to make sure that the sound quality is good and that the video is well framed.  Mobile phones are often the simplest, and often the best device for recording.  Make sure that the film is always taken in landscape and eliminate any background noise by setting up your recording in an appropriate space and at an appropriate time.
