Boarding

Each week, both boys’ and girls’ Houses hold a House meeting. These meetings continue remotely through video calls and are a great opportunity for boarders to catch up and chat about their weeks at home. We have been able to share our experiences in remote learning, what has been working well for us, and what hasn’t been working so well, to learn from each other and improve. It’s also fantastic to be able to see the MOD’s and have a chat with them.

Each week, Abbie our Head of Mac House and myself run our boarding catch-up. During this time we have a chat, check in with each other and play a game. We have a competitive bunch of girls, so Kahoot! is a great way for everyone to get involved, as well as drawize. We also get special visits from everyone’s pets - cats, dogs, lambs and birds.

These meetings help us keep in touch with our girls and ensure we are looking out for each other during this time.
