1/2 Teddy Bears Picnic

Today as a way to end our learning a out Transactional writing the two 1/2 classes had a Teddy Bear Picnic on Google Meets. During the week the 1/2 students wrote an invitation, a list of what they needed for the picnic and made a menu. Culminating in our Teddy Bear Picnic. We had a wonderful time singing the teddy bear picnic song, sharing our food, how many Teddy's we had and playing a scavenger hunt game. As you can see from the picture we all had a fabulous time.

Tuesday 8.30 - 9.00am

Wednesday 3.00- 4.00pm

Thursday 8.30 - 9.00am

If you are unable to make it to these times you can email me your order at dtrower@saseaford.catholic.edu.au or send in an order with your child. I am more than happy to fit your child if you are unsure of their size. If you enclose payment I can deliver the order to your child via the red tub.

St Anne's Playgroup

A reminder that Playgroup runs every Monday morning in the hall from 9-11am. Please bring a piece of fruit and a $2 donation. It is a great way to meet new parents and while giving the little ones a chance to have a play. No need to book just come along.

Who Doesn't love a dress up day?

We know that our Australian Farmers are resilient. With Drought, fires, floods and now the Mouse plague. The problem is so severe that mice are biting people whilst they lay in their beds. With the Mouse plague stretching across NSW to Southern QLD, Northern Victoria and into South Australia. The mice have caused hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage to farmers crops, fodder and homes. The financial destruction, and the experience of the plague is impacting our farmers yet again.

So please speak with your schools, workplaces and kindergartens about getting behind A fiver for a Farmer Day 2021.

We are working on am idea of how you can participate if you are homeschooling too! I am going to be jumping into a few of your zooms. So be sure to register and send us your link so I can swing by and say hi!

STAYING HOME, STAYING SAFE

I hope everyone across the country is coping ok with the latest COVID lockdowns. As you may know, my family and I live in Sydney, NSW. We have been in lockdown for the last few weeks. It has been challenging and hard to adjust. Especially with Mum working from home, Dad not working as his industry is affected, all whilst Ruby and I home-school. The biggest challenge is the Wi-Fi holding up to support us and Mum keeping us fed. She loves to tell us its not a café. Remember to get out as much as possible for exercise and to have a break from your screens. So meet a mate for a kick around in the park, jump on your bike or even write a mate a letter.Most of all stay safe!
