Performing Arts

With return to online learning, it was obvious that we were going to have to have another famous FPS virtual disco! It was so wonderful to see so many people in our community all in one virtual space dancing, celebrating and enjoying a shared experience. We both felt so connected to everyone again – it really brought so much joy to our week.

Our Book Week celebration disco was hosted by some of our fabulous Year 6 leaders. They curated the music, hosted the event, compered the costume parades and even ran the games. A huge thank you to Mathilda, Rosie, Elliot, Eloise, Vinh and Harvey!

For some photos, please check out our disco padlet and don’t forget to add your own photo of the day!

With the exciting news of specialists running live lessons, we are really looking forward to getting moving together, making music together and sharing the experience of creating.

Brass, Orchestra and Choir

Our wonderful brass teacher Sean has been continuing to run online lessons. We can’t wait to see (and hear!) what our talented brass students have been rehearsing.

The orchestra will be having an afternoon Zoom soiree on Friday to share and celebrate all the work they have been doing while learning from home. We are really excited to hear what they have been practising.

Next week, our choir will be meeting together to connect and have a sing to some of our favourite songs.

Keep dancing, singing and having fun!
