RUOK?

R U OK? DAY

This year, Thursday 9th September is R U OK? Day

Never, has there been a more important time to ask people in your circle if they are okay?  Life already has its ups and downs.  The pandemic and lock downs have added extra stress to our daily lives.  Chances are someone you know is struggling.  Their behaviour may have changed.  Perhaps they may have withdrawn from activities they normally enjoy or seem more agitated than usual.  Whatever it is, trust your gut and reach out.  Pick the right moment, ask R U OK? and listen.

Here is a video on showing you how you can notice a change in someone’s behaviour: www.youtube.com/watch?v=A32Up3wBS6k

The following page has lots of information about how to ask someone R U OK? to help build our confidence.  www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask
