Remote Learning & Teaching program overview:
All classes will commence live in MS Teams with a roll-call and wellbeing check.
Students are to join with their cameras on.
Classes will follow the timetable / schedule in Compass.
Lesson Plans for the day will be posted on Compass by 8.30am on the day.
Junior classes will not run live longer than 50 minutes.
Senior classes may run longer at the discretion of the teacher and the need of students.
We would like all students to join their class Teams call with their cameras on, so that staff can engage with them more easily, and also monitor wellbeing more effectively. Students can set a different background to obscure their work space from others. Students should ensure that their workspace is set up and ready to go, with all necessary materials and books at hand. They should also remember to take a break, stretch, go outside for exercise and fresh air etc. between classes and at the end of the day.
There will likely be further communication from the school before the start of on-line classes next week.
Kind regards,
Tony Jacobs, Suzanne Plant, Mike Stevens & Harry Ruff
