CHINESE

Currently in Chinese we are undertaking our Portfolio tasks. It’s a great opportunity for students to rise to the challenge and show what they have learnt. 

Our younger students focus on demonstrating the words they’ve learnt and understanding sentences in Chinese and Chinese characters.

The older students read entire passages in Chinese characters and show their understanding by answering comprehension questions – it’s a wonderful opportunity to work on their literacy – in another language! Some have even been creating their own Chinese stories!!

So far, our students have been showing amazing understanding and have done some wonderfully detailed work – well done!
