Our ‘ Share and Learn’ topic this week was favourite book! It’s been great to see so many students planning what they will say at home and bringing in something to show each week. Here is the organised Aryan with his favourite book ‘One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish’. Turns out Foundation A love Dr Suess! 

Hands on Maths in FA 

One sunny afternoon we collected gum nuts and native flowers to use in our Maths addition activities. We always aim to make maths fun, hands on and linked to real life scenarios. This makes our maths lessons more authentic and engaging. Students loved making up addition stories to go with their pictures too!

We are all about addition at the moment in Foundation. Students are spending lots of time modelling addition stories and finding the total of two numbers. Harvey W and Levi M enjoyed working together

Foundation C have become amazing writers in such a short time. They should be so proud of themselves!!
