Rules and Responsibilites
The school has a strong belief in adhering to rules and responsibilities, including playground rules, classroom rules and uniform rules.
Treating fellow students and teachers with respect is at the core of these beliefs: students displaying the core school values of Respect, Responsibility and Diligence will be regularly rewarded.
There are many policies in place at school, and these will be discussed in depth in Term One, so that students are clear about what to expect and what is expected.
There is a database system used by teachers to monitor and record student behaviour both positive and negative. Letters are generated by teachers and the Executive to communicate any issues to parents/carers.
It is essential that all Parents/Caregivers have an up-to-date email address for speed of communication.
Department of Education policies are all available on the internet. Parents are welcome to call the school and check with the Principal about any school policies.
We look forward to guiding students in responsible ways to behave at school, and will be spending Term One making certain students have a good understanding of the high expectations we have for them at Glen Innes High School.
