The Year 7 Girls Hockey team had a very successful season in Term 2, winning all seven rounds of EISM hockey games. Our greatest achievement was a game in which we won 14-0 - where everyone in our team scored a goal!

After each game, our bus rides back to School were always a bit hectic, with lots of laughter between us.

A huge thank you to our coaches, Bridie Linehan (former student) and Mr Bustin, who introduced us to all the helpful tips and tricks, as well as putting up with us for the whole term! We loved working together, not just as a team, but also as friends. We believe this bond played a pivotal role in leading us to our success. Overall, hockey has been blast and we look forward to playing next season!

Our badminton team was really successful in Term 2. We won all of our matches and worked really well together as a team.

Thank you to our Melbourne Sports Institute (MSI) coach Elvina Khlebnik for helping us improve in our badminton skills!

Year 9 Girls Softball

Giselle Ng, Year 9 Girls Softball Team

In Term 2, our softball team was able to make it to the semi-finals. Throughout the season, we won five out of a total six games.

Some people were new to the game (including me), but everyone was able to adapt and learn the game very well over time. In one of the games, we won 8-0, which personally got me very excited about our future games.

One particularly memorable instance in a game was when we had 'loaded bases'. Our captain, Loretta Pietrosanto, hit the ball so far that all four people, including her, were able to make it home before the ball got passed back to the other bases!

At the end of each game, we would play music, and everyone would relax and just have fun together.

Personally, so far in my School experience, this softball team has been the most fun and supporting sport I’ve ever done. Thank you to Ms Warburton for being an amazing coach!
