Community Group News

Welcome to 2023.  It is so good to be back and straight into it. Last week as you know the school ran four information sessions for each Learning Unit.  I had the privilege of speaking at all of them and meeting some new families and catching up with some that I haven’t seen since last year.  We announced the Year Level delegates and explained a bit about what it means to be a part of the community at St Luke’s. 

The community group is always looking for new members to join.  If you like to fundraise, help with BBQ days or even just want to get involved some way but want more information then please contact Matt on 0417 590 564 or commgroup@slshepparton.catholic.edu.au 

As per last year the Community Group will be meeting on the first Tuesday of each month, with the first meeting held last Tuesday 7th February.

Shrove Tuesday

We need around 11 helpers to cook and distribute pancakes for our students on Tuesday 21st February.  Volunteers will need to be at the school at around 9:00am until about 12:00 pm. If you can help even for a little while please contact the office.

If you or a family you know need any help please let us know.  We can organise a meal or two, or just even a like-minded parent to talk to if you need.

SJSA had a delegates meeting this week and will be opening up registrations at the end of February.  More information will follow and be on PAM.  If you are interested in becoming a coach or team manager, or you want more information about soccer please email soccer@slshepparton.catholic.edu.au
