What a big week in PE!

CRICKET: Our PE Dept received a $3000 grant from School Sport Victoria to conduct Cricket Clinics this term. Our funding includes a coach and some new equipment.   Our students are learning team work skills how to be good sports as well as throwing, catching and batting skills. Its a fantastic opportunity for all our players.

Warrandyte Basketball Club ran clinics for our Grade 1 and 2 students on Thursday - everyone had great fun and learnt some new skills. Many thanks to Briony Wylde and her team.

SOCCER: 

A lunchtime initiative we have started with the help of our grade 6 students is setting up the tennis court as a soccer pitch for recess and lunchtimes. With the assistance of our grade 6 students we are working on mini comps and different year levels having access to the space. 

Its been great to see the grade 6 students stepping up and organising this initiative.
