Chaplain's Corner

Hi Everyone,

It has been great seeing all your smiling faces, looking happy and relaxed, that includes staff too! I’ve enjoyed hearing about all the activities you have been up to.  I have heard of trips away, fun at home and in the local area, new babies, and sadly, the loss of a beloved pet etc, etc.

While Hubby worked, I was in MY HAPPY PLACE - my garden has been weeded and re-mulched, plants have been re-potted, roses de-budded, and while carefully working around numerous bees, I cut any finished flower spikes on my grevilleas.  In the evenings I made two baby beanies for new babies in the extended family. Last week we puppy-sat our ‘fur’ grandchild – our son thought his 21 month-old border collie ‘Echo’ would love another holiday with us!  Actually, I really enjoyed his company for long walks and games of catch the ball.   He got me up at 7 am each morning for his morning SPEED walk – good practise for this week!  The fresh COOL air was refreshing and ‘woke’ me up!  Catching up with friends over coffee was a bonus too!

I look forward to engaging with you again this term.

SO, have a great term of PLAY, LEARNING & OF GROWING TOGETHER!

KEEP SMILING!  WE CAN DO THIS – WE JUST NEED A GROWTH MINDSET!

And remember, BE YOURSELF!  EVERYONE ELSE IS TAKEN

Take care & stay well!
