Fairfax Youth Initiative presents:
The FYI Film Festival | 'The Stories That Make Us'
Across 2021 and 2022, The Fairfax Youth Initiative professionally produced the stories of 20 young storytellers. The result: an entire festival of short films, shot in 10 days, across 8 regional and rural towns in the Murray Mallee, Victoria.
With stories originally developed and performed as part of the FYI online storytelling mentorships in 2021, participants engaged in months of writing, mentoring, workshops, rehearsal and open-mic performance nights through the pandemic via Zoom.
Now, we’re proud to give these exceptional young voices a platform and share their stories on the big screen with the community that shaped them.
When: 28th May 4:30pm - 7:30pm

Who: All ages
Cost: This is a free community event. All are welcome, but bookings are essential.
