What extension tasks are available for students?

 

All learning at Newlands is differentiated. The school collects data that informs their practice which allows teachers to provide targeted learning experiences for all students.  

 

What is the difference between Seesaw Classroom and Seesaw Family?

 

The Seesaw classroom is a platform which students respond to activities and upload learning to their journal. This is used in the classroom. Students log into the app to complete activities, parents do not need access to this. 

 

Seesaw Family is a portfolio of their child's learning. This application is a way to share and provide transparency of the learning that is taking place in the learning environments. Teachers and student upload learning for families which is visible for families. 

 

Where is lost property kept?

 

In the Quadrangle, between the 2/3 and F/1 buildings, there are two tubs. One of these tubs contains drink bottles, hats and other miscellaneous items and the other tub contains all of the clothing that disappears or is forgotten.
