Music News!!
Rockfest:
Students from Kurnai College have the opportunity yet again this year to participate in the annual ‘Rockfest Music Competition’. The competition is a national event that gives students the opportunity to develop networks with music students from across Australia. The competition is adjudicated by professional musicians and industry leaders who provide feedback to the participants to grow and develop their musical potential. To enter or to find out more please speak to Mr Gretton.
Awareness Days
In week two we welcomed grade 5 & 6 students from Yinnar & Churchill Primary Schools. Students had the opportunity to play a variety of musical instruments, learn about the different instrument families and how sounds are produced.
Kurnai’s Got Talent
Auditions will occur in weeks 6,7 & 8 of this term. Please see Mr Hopkins or Mr Gretton for more details.
Want to Learn a musical instrument? Students wanting to learn a musical instrument, please collect an expression of interest form from the general office, or speak to Mr Gretton or Mr Hopkins to find out more information.
CANTEEN
Please be mindful we have had an increasing amount of large notes being brought to school. We are unable to cash $50. Don't forget we have eftpos available at all our canteens.

HANDS ON LEARNING
Hands on have gotten straight back into the swing of it. Installing fence gate and fence panel to the School vegie garden and cutting and constructing components for 2 Picnic tables for Mathison Park
