Mother's Day Stall & Liturgy

Mother's Day is fast approaching which means the Mother's Day Stall will be taking place this Thursday 5th May. If you have already completed the Volunteers Induction Workshop and would like to assist with the stalls, please contact me as soon as possible on the email below. Please note that you will need to show evidence of your triple vaccination certificate if you intend to volunteer for this event.

Any amount of time you can offer in assisting with this important event would be greatly appreciated.

Students will be able to purchase items ranging from $1- $6. A limit of two items per child will be permitted to be purchased. Students will visit the stall throughout the day and any surplus items can then be purchased again at the end of the day. Cross Country students will purchase items before they leave for their sporting event.

On Friday 6th May, the various year levels will be leading a Mother's Day Liturgy in various locations around the school. We would like to cordially invite all mothers, grandmothers, aunts and any other significant females in our students' lives to join us for these liturgies and then a morning tea. Please bring along your picnic rugs and packed morning tea to share with your children for the event.

All liturgies will commence at 9:10a.m in the following locations:

Foundation - Year 2 in the Hall

Years 3-4 in the Library

Seniors in their classrooms

All liturgy presentations will be the same in each location. We decided to spread the liturgies throughout the school to ensure we could manage all who attend in a safe and responsible manner. Everyone will then gather on the lawn area outside the hall for morning tea, weather permitting.

We hope to see you there and pray that every mother has a blessed and happy Mother's Day with family and friends.

Dental Program

With the easing of restrictions, St Therese is now permitted to offer students and their families a Dental Program provided by SEMPER Dental.

Documentation regarding this program has been sent home with students for families to consider. The program is optional, therefore families are encouraged to send back the information sheet only if they would like their children to receive this service at school. It is being offered on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th May 2022 and the dental van will be at our school for these two days only. All forms will need to be returned to school by Thursday 19th May 2022 for pick up by the dentists in readiness for the program.

If you have any further questions regarding the dental program, please contact me via email or phone.
