Inter School Winter Sports

Our winter sports competition is still yet to formally get going for 2018. Our first round against Reservoir West coincided with the Staff Conference, whilst the second round, against Holy Name, was cancelled due to the inclement weather that was around on Friday. Fingers crossed we are able to get onto the park/court next week.

Preston District Cross Country 2018

Following our successful trials earlier this term, we have been able to finalise our Cross Country team. Congratulations to the following 50 students who have been chosen to represent St Raphael’s at the PDPSSA Cross Country event, to be held on Wednesday 9th May 2018 @ Bundoora Park

9/10 Year Olds

3/4's Sporting Schools - Touch Football

Our Grade 3/4 students have just commenced their sporting schools program for the term, where they will be learning everything there is to know about Touch Football!

They participated in their first session in Week 3, and it was great to see their enthusiasm and enjoyment towards a different sport, and also their respect towards their Touch Football specialist, Giancarlo!

I look forward to watching their skills and knowledge blossom over the duration of the program.

Coles Sports for Schools

One final thank you to all the families and friends of the St Raphael’s community for their assistance in collecting the Coles Sports for Schools vouchers. I have emptied the box and just sent away another couple of envelopes to be added to our tally. Any final vouchers laying around can still be collected, however I ask that these are returned no later than the end of Week 5! (May 18)
