Mother's Day Breakfast
We were so pleased to offer an event for our Mums to celebrate Mother's Day and enjoy a social breakfast gathering.
Welcoming 60 mums, aunts and grandmothers to Milanos, we enjoyed a lovely sit down breakfast and listened to our guest speaker, Sarah McSwiney. Amongst other things, Sarah is a Kilvonian (1999), mother, aviation and aerospace engineer, member of our Board, and a passionate, enthusiastic woman. The feedback from the guests was such that Sarah will find it hard to ignore invitations to speak to our students of all ages - a truly inspirational individual. Thank you Sarah for sharing your passion about life, work and parenthood.
Thank you to all contributors. Kate McGregor (Year 4) of Aphrodite’s Inheritance, donated a beautiful fresh water pearl necklace as the first prize of our raffle, and 16 guests received lucky chair prizes. Janine Mitchell (Year 10) and her mother, Margaret, together made pretty pink heart shaped biscuits for each of us to take home, such a lovely touch. Thank you Janine for organising this event.
The overwhelming response was that we should do this as an annual event. If you have any feedback to help us shape next year's event please email PFA.
Mother's Day Stall
Thank you to the helpers who ran the gift stall today. The students had a lovely time making their choices. Thank you Helen Vouros for coordinating the stall.
We wish all our Mums a very happy Mother's Day this weekend. Thank you for every thing you do.
Senior School Production
I hope you have secured your ticket/s to Grease! It's on this coming week in Dalton Hall, and looks to be a wonderful production.
We look forward to welcoming you in the Staff Lounge for drinks and nibbles before the show starts and during intermission. All proceeds from the PFA hospitality stall will support our new Sports Centre appeal. Thank you to the helpers who have signed up.

Secondhand Uniform Shop
Have your children outgrown their uniforms?
Our Secondhand Uniform shop is rather low on stock, so gather up any uniform items (in good condition) and bring them to the next SHUS opening on Saturday 3 June from 10.00am – 12.00pm in Dalton Hall.
