8H School Camp reflections

Canoeing was a great experience for everyone. It was challenging at the start to keep up with everyone but eventually we got the hang of it. One of the best days of camp to make memories with friends. Because of the committed with canoeing we bonded stronger than ever.

Mount wombat was a fun experience. When we were walking up the steep hill it was very exigent but once we got all the way at the top, it was worth it. The view was breathtaking and we all bonded stronger than ever.

The campfire was a wonderful experience! We enjoyed it very much because it was cosy and comforting. We hunted for giant sticks to stab marshmallows with and toast in the flames of the fire. Overall, this experience was a very nice way to allow the class to bond and become much closer than before.

Thank you for the wonderful experience.

On the first day of camp, we went and visited ‘Lima falls’, which was a short hike followed by a waterfall. The hike gave most of the class sore calves but the extraordinary view was worth it in the end.
