NAPLAN
All students in Years 7 and 9 will be participating in NAPLAN assessment on the below dates:
Tuesday 15th May
Wednesday 16th May
Thursday 17th May
NAPLAN is a national program that looks at the literacy and numeracy skills of students in four areas of learning: Reading, Writing, Language Conventions, and Numeracy.
How can you help students? By ensuring they have a ‘growth mindset’ about NAPLAN testing, encouraging them to do their best and give it a go – in other words, to Try, Persevere and Achieve!
Please also ensure they have a pencil, eraser, sharpener and calculator with them during the testing.
If you have any questions about your child’s preparation for NAPLAN, you should make a time to speak with their teacher or coordinator.
