Energy Breakthrough

After a two year delay due to covid, Ballarat High School has three teams competing in the upcoming Energy Breakthrough event at Maryborough. The students have successfully built three new competing trikes and will use these to compete against approximately 160 other school in a gruelling 24 hour non stop race.

This extra curricular program extends the students as they are tasked with all aspects of the event from designing and building the trikes through to fund raising to participate in Maryborough. This year the senior team will be racing to defend their title of class winners at the last event. The event will be run from the 17th through to the 20th of November. All supporters are most  welcome to come and cheer them on with their goal.
