Aboriginal Community News

Hi everyone,

My name is Kylie (or Miss Kylie) and I'm the Aboriginal Community Education Officer (ACEO) here at Greenwith Primary School.

This term has been a busy one with a number of exciting elements for Aboriginal students and families. We were lucky enough to have Aboriginal ear health checks done in school by Health service Maringga Turtpandi, and we were also allowed to recommence the Aboriginal Lunch Club on Tuesdays and Culture Class on Thursdays. These are a fantastic way for our Aboriginal students to engage with each other and their friends while exploring our culture. Check out this awesome Aboriginal flag above that the students made using their handprints, and the flags they drew while waiting for their turn.
