Congratulations! This is a real win for our school community as it supports continuity of learning and relationships across our site.

As you may have heard in the media, schools across Australia have been impacted by a national shortage of teachers and unfortunately, this is the position we are finding ourselves in. We understand your frustrations, along with our own that so many teachers are currently choosing to do relief work and not accepting contract positions. At times, it is even challenging to have relief teachers assigned to every class.

We wish to acknowledge our fellow teachers who have consistently supported our relief teachers in ensuring continuity of student learning along with our processes and structures across the school. Thank you to Mrs Burgess and Mr Auzins for taking care of 1306 in the 2nd half of term 3. A full time teacher has been appointed to 1306 commencing at the start of term 4. We have also had challenges with staffing in 1302 however this has since been resolved. We sincerely thank our parents of these two classes for their understanding and support.
