Energy Waste

Hello Epping Secondary Community. We want to bring awareness of an environmental issue, that is Energy Waste. 

We are aiming to spread the message of the consequences involved with negligent use of electricity both at school and at home. 

Did you know energy is at the heart of the climate challenge. Generating electricity and heat by burning fossil fuels – coal, oil, or gas – causes a large chunk of the greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, that blanket the Earth and trap the sun's heat. Which in turn will soon transform our planet into a blazing ball of fire. 

But don’t worry, you can slow down the inevitable by following some of these guidelines on energy reduction. This includes removing your electronics and appliances when they’re not in use and reducing the amount of time you take to shower.
