Colour Explosion Fun Run – New Date: Friday 21st of October
Thank you so much for supporting our school, especially through fundraising. We are excited to announce that so far, we have raised over $7,800 to improve our outdoor play spaces! What a phenomenal effort! Fundraising for the colour run has been extended to the 21/10/2022.
Unfortunately, the Colour Run was postponed due to the heavy rain that was forecast.
We are planning to have our Colour Run next Friday the 21st of October from 2:00-3:00pm.
Families are invited to come and watch and cheer on our students as they tackle an obstacle course that will be set up on the oval.
The Colour Explosion Fun Run is the brightest day of the school year! It’s a Fun Run event with a colourful twist. As students make their way around the oval, they will be covered in non-toxic, biodegradable colour powder from head to toe!
When is the Colour Explosion School Fun Run? We will be hosting our Colour Explosion School Fun Run on Friday, the 21st of October from 2-3pm.
Students must wear a WHITE t-shirt and pants other than school uniform to wear during the Colour Fun Run and a towel to clean off afterwards. They will not be allowed to participate in their school uniform. Students attending after school care are advised to bring a spare change of clothes and a towel.
Is the powder safe? The non-toxic colour powder is made of high-quality corn starch and permitted food colours, so it’s safe for skin and eyes. Students with asthma are advised to be careful in their decision to participate.
How does my child fundraise? Fundraising is easy – simply follow the instructions outlined in your child’s sponsorship booklet. Your child can accept donations online by creating a cybersafe fundraising profile at www.australianfundraising.com.au. You can also collect cash donations with your sponsorship booklet. Please return your cash donations before the 21st of October.
How do I order my child’s incentive prizes? You can order your child’s prizes online between 22/10/2022 and 28/10/2022. Or, complete the back page of your sponsorship booklet when you return your cash donations. Order one prize based on the total amount of dollars raised, or mix and match smaller prizes.
Share in $200,000 worth of extra prize credit! Achieve bigger prizes by helping your child earn bonus credit on their online profile. By creating an avatar, sharing your page with friends and reaching milestone donations, you can share in $200,000 of extra prize credit!
Monstar Madness. There are heaps of prizes you can win when you fun-raise with Monty! Create your fundraising page in the next 7 days, and you will receive a Holographic Monty Sticker! Check out your sponsorship booklet for more awesome Monty prizes up for grabs, like a Monty Plush toy, a bag tag or a high-bounce handball!

Wear Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Friday, 7th of October
Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) takes place every October. The aim of the BCAM is to shine a light on the devastating impact breast cancer has on thousands of Australians each day.
On Friday, the 7th of October, we invited students and staff to wear something pink to raise awareness and support to those touched by breast cancer.
Together, we raised $230, which will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help fund more life-saving research.
Thank for your generosity and participation to raise awareness and money for cause close to our hearts.
