Sunday 18 September saw the start of the main competition with Cracker Jack, a Speckle Angus steer from Winter Speckle Parks, competing in the unled section where he was unfortunately unplaced.

In the junior classes, we had three steers in class 12- Joey- a Murray Grey from Parson Green Murray Greys, Nigel- a Limousin steer bred by Casey and Nigel Wieck and purchased at the Potential Show Steer Sale and Aussie- a Speckle Angus steer purchased from Winter Speckle Parks who went on to be highly commended in a very strong class.

In the open section, we had Mascara- a Romagnola x Red Angus heifer bred by the Fletcher family of Tamworth and purchased from the Potential Show Steer Sale place 3rd in class 2 and Chandler- a Murray Grey Steer from Parson Green Murray Greys also placed 3rd.

It was a fabulous three days of competition and the students worked hard and represented the school with pride.
