Year 12 Ancient History

Ancient History students celebrated their last day of Year 12 at an Ancient Greek Symposium with their two senior teachers Mrs Gaden and Mrs Byrne. A symposium was a major form of entertainment in Ancient Athens, where male citizens would gather to enjoy a banquet with music, poetry, dancing and games. Year 12 tasted a range of traditional Greek foods including dolmades, pomegranates, goat’s cheese and two versions of baklava (thanks to Mrs Gaden and Sam Sleet). It was a wonderful way to say goodbye. All the best to Year 12 in their HSC.
