Science

It has been a big term for Science as we moved through the Chemistry leg of our Science journey. We have focused on exploring and experimenting with temperatures and learning about the way heat moves. Students have been describing and commenting on experiments and reflecting on their learning through asking and developing questions. 

Check out some of our amazing experiments from this term, including: ‘Temperature Play’ – using gluten-free playdough to explore the difference between hot and cold, ‘Candy Glass Decorations’ – experiencing how glass is recycled through melting and reforming crushed candy, and ‘Colourful Currents’ – demonstrating the principal of how heat rises with coloured water.
