Pre Primary Library Excursion

After being cancelled 4 times – the Pre Primary classes finally got to go on their long awaited excursion to Fremantle Library. Along with nine fabulous parent helpers, we all caught the 502 bus into Fremantle.

It was an absolute treat – definitely worth the wait! James Foley, an award winning, local author had all the children and adults captivated with his tale of how he became a writer, venturing back to his Pre Primary day.

What a skill to be able to have that many children sitting and belly laughing. He then read his award winning book Stellaphant. He finished off by doing a live drawing on his IPad; with the children calling out some details to him, including a macaroni pizza with fish and pineapple@!

This term we challenge you to crunch the rainbow for Crunch&Sip® by making a rainbow in your classroom. Eating different coloured fruits and vegetables provides lots of different vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals. Which is why crunching on a rainbow will help kids get the right balance of nutrients they need for a healthy body.
