Room 8

Last week Rooms 7 and 8 got Term 4 off to a flying start with an amazing incursion called ‘Food Sensations’.  As part of Technology and Health, we learned all about ‘Superhero Foods’ and what we should eat most and least of.  We also learned all about the nutrients that help us to grow strong and keep us healthy. We were really lucky as we cooked six different dishes in our groups, with our wonderful parent helpers. Best of all was getting to eat it! Some us didn’t like all of the dishes, however, proudly had a little taste test.

“The curry was delicious”, from Elliot and, “It had lots of flavours”, by Anna.

“I learned how to use a knife correctly and safely”, by Ruth.

“The Food Sensations lady taught me how to peel a carrot”, by India.

“For me, the Rainbow Rice was perfection”, by Fletcher.
