Flexischools app will be changed

At the end of term 2 with limited notice, Flexischools announced they were taking over Flexibuzz.  We have since discovered that Flexischools have advertisements embedded into the Flexischool app.  Please note we do not endorse any of the advertisers.  We will be looking into an alternative.  Until such time we will be using Flexischools.  Thank you for your patience.

Sacraments

Once again, we will need to put our planned Sacraments on hold. At the end of last term, I was very hopeful that we would be able to proceed with Reconciliation in weeks 4, 5 and 6 of this term. Unfortunately, Reconciliation will need to be postponed until further notice. Should we be able to gather in groups again we will try to find suitable dates this year.

Eucharist at this stage is still in the calendar as the dates fall outside of the current lockdown period but once again with the uncertainty at this stage, this too may yet be cancelled. Thank you to the families who attended the online Eucharist parent night with Fr Elio Capra on Tuesday.  We are proceeding with preparing the children for this sacrament.

Confirmation is yet to be confirmed. As relayed to you in the second last newsletter last term, Fr John has written to the Vicar General to ask when restrictions are eased if he would be able to officiate this important milestone Sacrament for our Year 6 children. The response is promising and we are hoping to be able to proceed with this in Term 4. We have tentatively put aside the following two dates October 23 and November 6. We may need to celebrate the occasion over two dates if the restrictions on gathering in Church remain at smaller numbers. Until we have an official statement we are unable to confirm these details.
