What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?
Health & PE Prep to Year 9.
What did you do previously?
I was a Curriculum Support Teacher in K-12 for kids with ASD.
What do you like to do for fun?
I love anything sport related and spending time with my kids.
VANESSA MORTIMER (LEARNING ASSISTANT)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?
I am a Learning Assistant in Year 8. I am really looking forward to building connections and positive relationships with students.
What did you do previously?
I recently moved from Canada where I was a support worker with children in foster care in Canada.
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy watercolour painting, reading, hiking and exploring new places.
NATALIE FLANAGAN (MARKETING & ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?
My new role is Marketing & Administration Assistant. I am excited to get to know all the new faces and families of the staff, students and teachers here at BHCS.
What did you do previously?
I have a long background in Administration, but my last role was managing a café at the beautiful Robert Gordon Pottery outlet, and yes, I do now own an abnormally large amount of pottery!
What do you like to do for fun?
Fun for me is getting away, drinking good coffee and being outdoors. My happy place is anywhere in nature or water. My kids and I often go on road trips that involve rivers, lakes or beaches.
LILY NORTON (ADMINSTRATION INTERN)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?
This year I am starting the role of admin intern. I am looking forward to learning the tricks of the trade and interacting with all the students in the DC this year!
What did you do previously?
Last year I was a student who was a part of the graduating class of 2022.
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun I like to read, make costumes of my favourite characters and do pretty much anything arty.
