WELLBEING RESOURCES

We know that it can sometimes be hard to find the necessary resources in relation to mental health, bullying and family violence, especially when things are tough. For this reason, the School has a small webpage with links related to health and wellbeing resources. This can be found on the School's website under Other Resources or can be found here.

ANZAC DAY REQUEST

As we are now in March, our annual ANZAC Day commemoration service is on the horizon. It is a time for the school to pause, reflect and pay our respects to those who have served our nation in times of war.

Each year, we mark key anniversaries within some of the conflicts that Australians have served in over the years. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the end of Australia's involvement in the Vietnam War, and we will be acknowledging those who served in that conflict within the service.

We know that there are some within the extended families in our community who served in Vietnam, and we are looking for their stories if they are willing to share them. Some of these stories have already been shared with us, however, we want to give the opportunity for those who have not done so to share with us. These don't need to have many details - even just their battalion and time of service. Of course, more detailed stories are welcome, should the veterans be willing to share.

If a service photo is available, it would be wonderful if that could be shared with us as well.

We are hoping that these stories and photos will form a part of the service this year.

In order for us to have time to make the necessary arrangements for the we ask that you submit these stories by the 31st March 2023. Stories and any questions you may have can be sent to aware@bhcs.vic.edu.au
