VCE Year 12 Food Studies - What's Cooking?

This week in the Unit 3 VCE Food studies class, we have been learning about different nutrients and the affects they have on us as well as how we absorb the nutrients through the digestive system.

On Friday we started our first SAC where us year 12s were analysing the difference between homemade and store-bought sausage rolls. Our homemade versions contained less fat and more vegetables which increased its nutritional value, while the processed and packaged Mrs Mac’s sausage rolls could take on new tips from us!
