Visit From St Kilda Football Club

On Tuesday 28 February, St Kilda Football players Mattaes Phillipou, Brad Crouch, and Isaac Keeler visited Beaumaris North Primary School to speak to Year 6 about leadership, training, nutrition, and teamwork.

The players discussed how important it is to be a leader both on and off the field. They talked about setting a good example and being a positive role model to others. They also stressed the importance of working hard and always striving to improve.

The players shared their daily training routine with us, which included a wide range of exercises to strengthen their muscles and endurance. They explained that training is essential if you want to be successful in any sport or activity.

Nutrition was also a hot topic during the visit. The players shared their dietary habits and emphasized the importance of eating healthy foods to fuel our bodies for physical activities. They also talked about how too much junk food can affect our performance and energy levels.

We are grateful to St Kilda Football Club for taking the time to visit our school and share their knowledge with us.
