Autumn Holiday Program

This Autumn Holiday Program, we had lots of fun activities planned around themes like Wonder Jungle, Junior Explorers, Running Wild, Wellness Warriors, Tribal Vibes, Smile Galore, Rumble in Jungle, At the Movies & Wild Ride. The children enjoyed going on excursions to Luna Park, Super Zu and watched “The Super Mario Bros” movie at Village Cinema, Doncaster.

The children got a chance to unleash their inner scientist with the DIY Volcano Kit which was perfect for all curious ones who love to explore and experiment. They also geared up for the adventure by working on the DIY Explorer Hat and discovered the world around them while looking stylish and cool.

In the second week, we had a super fun 90 minutes action packed “Billy Cart” Incursion. The children investigated the fundamental properties of motion and learned how these influence design and performance. They were challenged to work in teams to follow set design procedures with complexity adjusted to suit all year levels.

Throughout the holiday program at TheirCare we were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather and we made the most of it. For all those who preferred being inside played Bowling, Table Tennis, Guess Who, Sequence, UNO Flip, Chess, and many other Board Games. The ones who loved reading books took the opportunity to spend time in the quiet corner of the room.

Term Time

It has been almost 2 weeks and we are back to our usual term time routine. The preps are getting more independent and confident. Grades 4, 5 & 6 have been actively taking responsibilities, suggesting themes and activities which we love to take it onboard.
