Since returning to school the senior VCAL class has begun many new projects one being the BBQ held at the swimming carnival last week. the BBQ was a massive success we raised just under $300. the money raised will be going towards another one of our projects we are planning. We will be using the money to help fund us in building garden beds and a vegie patch.

Another exiting event from the VCAL class is the planning of a hike and overnight camp in Creswick. The hike is over 21km long we will be walking from Woodmans Hill to the slatty creek camp ground in Creswick. In order to be ready to hike 21km the class has been completing small training walks last week we walked 6km down Scotts parade and back. on Monday the 20th of Feb we walked 8km along the Yarrowee river trail. Both walks have been successful as the class stops and waits for each other. the class has Demonstrated both Determination and Respect for their peers.
