School Photo Catch-Up Day

Our Catch Up Photo Day has unfortunately been postponed, due to unforeseen circumstances. This is for any students who missed having their photo taken on the 20th February (and also for Year 12 students).

We will advise the new date as soon as it is confirmed by The School Photographer.

  • These photos are used for Student ID's and can be used for proof of identity, concessions etc.
  • Therefore, we need students to be in full school uniform, natural hair, minimal hair, minimal make up and jewellery, earrings etc.
  • Students will need to wear their white shirt or dress for the photos to be taken.
  • All photo packs are to be given directly to the photographers on the day.

All order forms have been handed out by the Team Leaders, but for any students who do not have a form, the following code can be used on the School Photographer's website (http://www.theschoolphotographer.com.au)

Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine update

From 6th February 2023, the dosing schedule for the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, Gardasil®9, has changed from two doses to a single dose for most people. The schedule has not changed for immunocompromised people, who may still need three doses of HPV vaccine. The change is based on advice that a single dose of HPV vaccine provides about the same protection as two doses. You can find out more information at the Better Health Channel here.

What do you need to do?

Your council immunisation service will seek your consent for vaccinations given at school as usual. If you have already given consent for your child’s HPV vaccination, and agree to your child having a single dose of Gardasil®9 vaccine instead of the previous two doses, you do not need to take any further action.

If you would like to discuss the change, or clarify any information contained in this message please contact your local council before your child’s vaccination session.

Additional Information - Works Notification Henty Street Traffic Changes for L-Beam Installation

The dangerous and congested level crossings at McGregor Road, Main Street, and Racecourse Road, are being removed by building a rail bridge over the roads and delivering new stations at Pakenham and East Pakenham.

From the 28 February until July 2023, the project will be delivering and installing L-Beams along Henty Street. Lbeams are concrete segments that range from 25m to 32.8m long. They join together to make the rail bridge. To complete these works the team will be required to intermittently remove some parking on Henty Street and work some nights.
