Sustainable transport

Northcote High School is committed to environmental sustainability and expects all of our students to be responsible and considerate members of the broader community. With this in mind, if you live close to school, please consider walking/riding to school whenever possible.

Bike riders, be aware that our building works are in progress and bike parking is no longer available beside the Gym. New parking is available between G10 and the bus-shed in addition to that behind C-block, under the library and on the racks at the front of the school. Bikes not parked in these allocated areas will be actively managed by the school. Please be safe around others and therefore dismount your bike prior to entering the school grounds.

If taking public transport, be a thoughtful commuter: stow bags neatly at your feet, be aware of your noise level and offer seats to those more in need than yourself.
