Day One for Students

Day 1 arrangements

To help ensure a smooth start to the year, we run a staggered commencement. Students should arrive by 8:50 am for a 9:00am assembly on the day and in the location indicated.

Wednesday 1st February

Year 7:  Hall

Year 10: GCC

Year 11: Gym

Year 12: Library

Thursday 2nd February

Year 8: Hall

Year 9: GCC

Year 12s will spend Thursday 2nd February at a Study Conference at LaTrobe University.

On the first day, Period 1 will be an Assembly and Connect time with Tutors. Regular classes will commence Period 2. Year 7s will have an extra period with their Tutor and commence classes Period 3.

Lockers

Lockers will be allocated within the first 5 days at school. Please make sure that students bring their official school lock, as these are the only locks that may be used and others will be removed. All new students are issued with a lock. Replacements can be purchased at the General Office. 

What to bring on Day 1

It is not necessary to bring all books and equipment, nor devices.  A notebook and pencil case is sufficient for the first day. Students can access their daily classes on their Compass Timetable next week.
