A Letter In Time

During lockdown 2.0, our year 7 students connected with our Alumnae members who finished school at CLC's East Melbourne campus in the 1940s and 50s by writing letters about their experience of school during lockdown and a little about themselves too. The times may have changed, but school life and friendships have not and it was wonderful to read the stories and experiences that were shared.

Whilst it started out as an idea to ensure a connection for our current and past students during lockdown, it has now become a full program and a way for our Alumnae to get a glimpse into College life. It also allows our year 7 students to gain an understanding of the deep connection that our Alumnae have to CLC.  What a wonderful way to commence their journey.

Thank you to those Alumnae who took the time to read the letters and respond. Your letters and the effort you have put into them have been warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Did you attend CLC in the 1950s and 60s? Keep an eye out in your mailboxes this winter for your letter.
