Year 7  Update

EMC would like to congratulate all year 7 students as we have observed them returning to school with renewed energy and academic focus. 

It is a pleasure to see students had a safe and relaxing break, respite is essential in ensuring students continue to demonstrate excellence in all their endeavours.

iCAN Challenge 2021

Congratulations to the incredible number of year 7 students who participate in the iCAN challenge, 2021 is an important year for the iCAN challenge after it was postponed in 2020.

The college owes a good portion of it's ongoing success with iCAN to the enthusiastic attitude of year 7 students, both past and present. 

The success of fundraising by year 7 students is clearly demonstrated by the 18 year 7 students who raise $500 or more!! A further congratulations to K73 and M73 who had huge participation and represented most of the year 7 students who raised $500+

Term 2

This term has some exciting events upcoming, include:

• Athletics Carnival
• Year 7 Inventors Night 
  This is an awesome night for the community where students get to show off their inventions as part of their Digital Technologies elective. Term 2 will host Allinga and Bindana, whilst Inventors Night in Term 4 will host Kurunda and Myamba.
• Moonlit Sanctuary Excursions 
  Year 7s will visit the local wildlife sanctuary in Pearcedale as part of their Science curriculum. This a fan favourite amongst staff and students alike.
